One of the signs of love for Nabi ﷺ is that he ﷺ should be followed in all our actions, one should possess a love for the Qur’an and recite it, the ahadith of Nabi ﷺ should be studied, the lifestyle and sunnah of Nabi ﷺ should be studied, the lifestyle and sunnah of Nabi ﷺ should be practiced upon, the qualities of Nabi ﷺ should be imbibed; mention of Nabi ﷺ should be done abundantly; durood sharif should recite up upon him ﷺ and one should have the fervor to meet Nabi ﷺ. All of these are indicators of love. The practical expression of such love was the group of the sahabah ﷺ. They’re special and distinguishing quality was obeying every command of Nabi ﷺ – not caring in the least for their lives, wealth, and families.
